THE USE OF FLUORESCENCE IMAGING IN HPB SURGERY: AN OVERVIEW

Synopsis: Dr. Catherine Teh will give a review of evidence and practical tips for the use of ICG fluorescence imaging in hepatobiliary surgery, including tumor identification, anatomical resection, liver transplant and lap chole. Dr. Teh will also discuss how ICG fluorescence can help surgeons see more and do more to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Catherine Teh is currently Chief of Section of HPB Surgery, Makati Medical Center, President of Philippine Association of HPB Surgeon, President of ASEAN Lap HPB Alliance, and Director of PCS Cancer Commission Surgical Quality Improvement Program. She is also an active senior consultant of the section of HPB surgery and MIS in St Luke’s Medical Center, Co-director of the NKTI Liver Center and Former Chair of the National Kidney & Transplant Institute’s Department of Surgery.
